Leading independent energy company Ovo Energy has welcomed national recognition from top consumer body Which? for providing ‘5 star’ accuracy and clarity in its billing and the best customer complaints handling in the industry.
In the 2011 Which? Switch Consumer Satisfaction Survey, released this week, Ovo is ranked as one of the best value smaller energy providers and voted among the UK’s top gas and electricity suppliers for customer service.
Ovo Energy’s collective score was 76 per cent, based on customers’ overall satisfaction and their likelihood of recommending Ovo to a friend. Within a number of areas of Which?’s survey, the energy supplier scored consistently strong marks, with Which? applauding the company as “one of the best value smaller providers”.
Stephen Fitzpatrick, Ovo Energy’s Managing Director said: “We are very pleased with this year’s results which show that our dedication to improving standards and quality for consumers in the energy market is having a real effect.
“These results show that we’re doing a good job but we know we don’t always get it right. We know there’s more work still to do to ensure we provide exceptional levels of customer service in every area of our business and we greatly value the feedback we have received from our customers so far. This feedback continues to help us consistently improve our service as we grow quickly.
“Ovo Energy is committed to raising the bar in service, fair pricing and transparency across the industry, putting our customers at the heart of what we do to offer cheaper, greener and simpler energy.”
In 2011, Ovo Energy achieved steady growth, and has doubled customer numbers to 70,000 since the last Which? Switch survey.

Please to see Ovo was one of the first suppliers to cut their prices recently.
But you don’t reward loyal customers as it only applies to new customers. You would like me to recommend new customers to you so apply the cut to all customers.
Do it now and grab the headlines again and as a consequence get even more customers.
