Here's how it works:

To ensure you receive your £40, it's important that your friend uses the link provided to sign up and selects the option a 'Friend told me' when asked how they heard about Ovo. Don't worry, instructions are in the message we send to them.
If your friend decides to sign up over the phone, they just need to quote the reference number supplied in the email or post.

And that's it! Once your friend has switched and is on supply you'll receive the £40 credit on your account. Depending on the billing cycle this may take approx 60 days.

Please note that you need to have signed up to Ovo and received your account number in order to recommend a friend.
