1 If you’re signed up to our Green Energy, we purchase renewable certificates for 100% of your electricity use from green sources such as wind, solar, geothermal and hydro. Visit ovoenergy.com/ovo-fuel-mix for more information.
2 Interest Rewards are paid on credit balances of customers paying by monthly Direct Debit. It is calculated at 3% in your first year, 4% in your second year and 5% in your third year (and every year thereafter) if you pay by Direct Debit. Interest Rewards are paid monthly based on the number of days you’re in credit and the amount left in your account after you’ve paid your bill. Full terms apply: ovoenergy.com/terms.
3Saving based on the estimated annual cost for a non-economy-7, dual-fuel, medium user (3100 kWhs elec. and 12000 kWhs gas) paying monthly in advance by Direct Debit, including Self Service Reward. Comparisons made against the Ofgem published tariff cap for a customer on a standard variable or default tariff that comes into effect on 01/04/2019. Savings are an estimate only and your actual costs will vary according to your region and usage. All rates correct as of 15/03/2019.
4 To earn our Self Service Reward, you’ll need to do just 3 simple things: Manage your account online instead of contacting us where possible (whether by phone, email or otherwise), except in the case of an emergency. This includes receiving all communications electronically; pay on time by direct debit and at least the recommended amount (or more) each month; provide meter readings online at least once every 3 months. If you satisfy all of these requirements in a calendar quarter, then we will credit your account with £7.50 per fuel for that quarter as a thank you. However, if you don’t receive the Self Service Reward one quarter, we will still apply the Self Service Reward to your bill the next time you have met the rules in a full calendar quarter. 5 Indra Renewable Technologies Limited (one of the OVO Group companies) will own the charger throughout the trial. The charger will be installed at no cost to you (provided the installation is standard).
A standard install is when:
You have off-street parking for your vehicle
The charging installation point is no more than 10 metres from your fuse box.
The fuse box is RCD protected and has one other way to protect the outgoing circuit for the charge point.
Cables can be surface mounted and clipped in directly.
No groundworks are needed.
The charge point can be fixed to your home and can use your home’s earthing arrangement (which must also comply with current regulations).
