The Engineer was excellent which was just as well
The Engineer was excellent which was just as because OVO failed to pass on my important message that the current gas meter has two anaconda flexible connectors whereas to be compliant with gas regulations there must only be one flexible connector. After three days the gas consumption is no longer showing on my home energy meter.

The engineer contacted me to say he was in his way and arrived at the time previously agreed. He was courteous and friendly and installed the meter without any difficulty. He explained how the meter would work and answered some questions I had for him. The experience was v satisfactory.

Meter stopped linking to Ovo database…
Meter stopped linking to Ovo database so I have been receiving estimates for energy use. Slow to diagnose cause and even slower to instruct engineering team ... we are talking over a year here.... When engineer finally arrived with Series2 meters, installation was fast, polite and efficient.

2 Each year, OVO plants 1 tree for every member in partnership with the Woodland Trust. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, so tree-planting helps to slow down climate change.
3 Interest Rewards are paid on credit balances of customers paying by monthly Direct Debit. It is calculated at 3% in your first year, 4% in your second year and 5% in your third year (and every year thereafter) if you pay by Direct Debit. Interest Rewards are paid monthly based on the number of days you’re in credit and the amount left in your account after you’ve paid your bill. Full terms apply.
4 By providing 100% carbon neutral gas (15% green gas and 85% offset) and offsetting all associated lifecycle carbon emissions involved in the production and consumption of your energy, OVO Beyond reduces your yearly carbon emissions from the energy used in your home to net zero. The renewable electricity we sell is backed by renewable certificates (Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin certificates (REGOs)). See here for details on Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin certificates and how these work. The green gas we sell is backed via renewable certificates (Renewable Gas Guarantees of Origin (RGGOs)).
