OVO Wins Ten uSwitch Energy Awards

OVO was founded with the intention of helping to make the energy market a better, fairer place. From day one we've done everything in our power to put our customers first, to make their energy experience as easy, stress-free and enjoyable as we can.

That’s why we’re overjoyed by the news that we’ve topped ten out of twelve categories at the uSwitch Energy Awards. It was the first time we’ve been eligible for the awards - which are based on a report canvassing 5,300 energy customers - and we’re thrilled to have done so well. We topped the polling in the following categories: Most Likely to be Recommended, Value for Money, Best Deal for You, Customer Service, Billing Services, Meter Services, Online Services, Green Services and Transfer Process.

Most excitingly for us, we were also awarded the top rating for Overall Customer Satisfaction, with our rating of 86% being the highest ever in the nine years that uSwitch has been running the awards. This is a lovely indication that we're on the right track when it comes to offering our customers a better energy experience.

We know that there’s still a lot of resistance to switching suppliers in a market that has been dominated by the same old names for so long, so it means the world to us that those customers that have taken a chance on us feel well rewarded. We hope that these results will encourage more people to take the plunge and switch in search of the deal that is best for them.

At the end of the day we don't do what we do for the accolades, but the fact that these awards reflect the attitudes of energy customers means a great deal to us, and we will use them as inspiration to spur us on to future improvements.
