Terms and conditions for the Power Move smart plug offer
1.1 These terms and conditions (the Terms) apply to the Power Move smart plug offer (the Offer). Please read these Terms carefully before going ahead with this offer.
1.2 These Terms only relate to this Offer and are separate to the OVO Core Terms and Conditions controlling the supply of energy to you, and to the Power Move Terms.
By being one of the first 20,000 customers to sign up to OVO’s Power Move Autumn Challenge (running from 1 October 2023 to 31 December 2023), you'll receive a free pack of 2 tapo P110 energy monitoring smart plugs (the Product). This offer is applicable to customers joining Power Move for the first time.
3.1 The Product will automatically be sent to all eligible customers.
3.2 Eligible customers will receive the Product within 45 days of signing up to the Power Move Autumn Challenge.
3.3 The Product will be sent to the address registered on the customers' OVO Energy account. We aren’t able to send any Products to any other addresses.
3.4 Only one Product per eligible OVO Energy account holder will be allowed.
3.5 We reserve the right to substitute the Product with an alternative product at our discretion.
If you think there is something wrong with your Product, you need to contact our Customer Service Team. You may be entitled to a repair or replacement of the Product but you won’t be entitled to receive any cash alternative.
5.1 All Products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Please read the terms of the applicable warranty carefully. Your warranty may be void if the Product is not used in accordance with the terms of the warranty and/or the manufacturer’s instructions.
5.2 Any obligations to maintain the Products, which are conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty are your responsibility to perform and maintain a record of. Neither we nor the manufacturer have any responsibility to maintain the Products.
5.3 The warranty period for the Product is 2 years. If you've any questions, need support or to raise a query with tapo, please go to https://www.tapo.com/uk/support.
6.1 We won’t be liable for any loss, including (but not limited to) indirect loss, any expense or damage that you may suffer or sustain as a result of obtaining the Product, except where such loss or damage cannot be excluded by law.
6.2 We won't be responsible for:
a) any delay or inability to fulfil the Offer, deliver your Product and/or fulfil your service for reasons outside our reasonable control, or any costs, loss or damage you suffer as a result
b) any costs, loss or damage you suffer as a result of not using the Product in line with the instructions provided to you, including any manufacturer user guides
c) any loss or damage you suffer caused by us, our employees or agents to the extent such loss or damage is a result of you going against these Terms
d) any failure by you or a third party in the care, operation, inspection, servicing or maintenance of a Product which is not done strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and without the consent of either us or the manufacturer
7.1 We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be published on our website.
7.2 We reserve the right to make changes to or withdraw the Offer at any time.
7.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
