- If their sign-up is successful and they switch to OVO, you'll both receive a £50 electronic Gift Card, delivered straight to your inboxes1. If they follow the referral link, all will be confirmed as soon as they switch, they don’t need to do anything else. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your friend has confirmed the switch to us.
Once your friend has gone onto supply with OVO Energy you’ll both be sent an email to choose your £50 Gift Card* - check your ‘spam’, ‘promotions’ and ‘junk’ folders if your Reward doesn’t arrive as expected. This could take up to 30 days from the Referred Friend’s sign up if there are no unexpected issues or delays.
Finally, refer a friend rewards apply to direct switches only. So if your friend switches to OVO using a broker website like www.comparethemarket.com or www.uswitch.com neither of you will receive the OVO Energy referral Gift Card offer.

Our current refer a friend reward is a £50 Gift Card from one of the following shops: M&S, John Lewis & Partners, Sainsbury’s, Halfords, B&Q or Amazon.co.uk Gift Card*. Once your friend has signed up to OVO, you’ll be sent an email with a link you can click to choose your Gift Card2.
