Smart Heating Express fit waiver
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, when contracts are considered to be agreed away from trade premises or at a distance, the customer has the right to cancel the contract within fourteen days of the delivery of the products.
There can be occasions however, when both the company and the consumer can make an “express request” confirming that they are happy for Installation to begin within the Cooling Off Period.
Please Note: If you make an “express request” for the Installation to start you can cancel within the cancellation period as long as the Installation is not completely finished. However, if you cancel after making the “express request” you will be liable for any part of the Installation performed up to the point of cancellation.
If you wish for us to begin Installation within this cancellation period you must give us express permission, in writing, to do so. We would ask you to read the statement below and tick the box to confirm that you understand the implications of giving this “express consent”.
I/We understand that ticking the box below does not affect my/our right to cancel this contract in the 14 day cancellation period which begins on receipt of all the Heaters described in the agreement and accepted quotation (provided the installation is not completely finished).
I/We understand that if I/We cancel the contract within the 14 day cancellation period, I/We will be liable for any part of the Installation performed up to the point of cancellation. This may include reasonable costs for: (a) any part of the Installation already carried out by OVO Energy Ltd, and (b) any Heaters already installed into my/our Property.
I/We hereby give express consent for OVO Energy Ltd to commence Installation on the agreed installation date
