Charge Anytime works by crediting your OVO energy account for your EV charging. You can see your credits on your monthly energy bill.
A bit more about crediting:
Credits will show on your monthly bill for the previous month’s charging
Credits will be paid within the first week of the following month. For example, the charging you do in April will be reflected in May’s bill.
To smart charge and get credits you need to be using the Charge Anytime app, or Volvo Cars app.
The amount you see in the ‘Savings’ tab is how much you have saved with Charge Anytime, rather than how much it has cost you.
The total amount at the top is what you’ll be credited back to your account in the first five working days of the following month. You’ll see this as Charge Anytime Credit on your following bill.
Customers can only have one Charge Anytime account per OVO account. If you move house and have an OVO account at your new address, you'll have to delete your old Charge Anytime account in the Charge Anytime app. You can then create a new one with your new OVO account details.
Open the OVO Charge Anytime app
Tap the ‘Account’ tab in the bottom right
Tap the User icon in the top left
Tap the ‘Delete account’ link
Select a reason for leaving and tap ‘Continue’
Your app account will now be deleted and there will be no further connection or interaction between your car and the OVO system
Please note, you’ll still be credited for any smart charging that you’ve done up to this time.
We'll calculate your credit up to the date you leave and add it to your old account the following month.
