We’re not just asking you to aim for zero– we’re joining you!

Change takes all of us. So we’ve committed to being a net zero carbon business by 2035, while helping members like you halve your carbon footprint at the same time. We’ll get this done by managing our emissions as an organisation, and helping you to do the same.

We call it Plan Zero, and we’re not doing it alone. All the companies in the OVO family are working towards the same goals.

Carbon-cutting energyis just the beginning

The journey to zero carbon is about more than just renewable energy. It’s about changing the way we use energy in our homes and beyond them. And new technologies will help us. That’s why we’re crunching smart meter data into easy, personalised actions, turning electric vehicles into power stations with clever chargers, keeping you cosy with energy-efficient heaters– and developing lots of new tech for the future.

Creating a greener, brighter futurefor the next generation

We believe every child and young person should have access to nature - and be able to learn about protecting the planet they love. That’s why we launched OVO Foundation in 2014, OVO’s climate-focused charity. OVO Foundation supports a broad range of impactful projects that equip young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to actively engage with and address the climate crisis.

Everything we do is funded by generous donations from OVO customers. Every penny that is donated is matched by OVO and 100% of donations goes directly to support our projects. So together, we can do double the good.

5 million UK treesplanted

Since 2015 we've also planted 5 million UK trees in schools and communities across the UK on behalf of our customers.
