If you sign up, you’ll control your heat pump through the Havenwise app and Havenwise will optimise your heat pump in the background. Your home should feel just as cosy, for the same 15p/kWh rate, but will be optimised to be powered by electricity when the grid is greenest.²

Smarter energy and a £50 thank you voucher
If you take part in the trial, your 15p per kWh Heat Pump Plus add-on rate will stay the same. Havenwise will just optimise your heat pump to increase its efficiency and better align its operation with moments when electricity is greener² and cheaper.
You’re free to leave the trial at any point, but you’ll need to complete it to be eligible for our £50 thank you voucher. Have a read of our FAQs below to learn more.

Havenwise app
Download the Havenwise app via the link provided to set your temperature and hot water preferences. The app usually has a £60 subscription charge but you’ll be able to access it for free for the duration of the trial.

Surveys
Complete an onboarding survey and then tell us how it’s going with quick monthly feedback.

Get rewarded
Towards the end of the trial, we'll be in touch to find out how you've found the experience overall. You'll get your reward soon after.
Who cantake part
If you’re interested, you’ll need to meet certain criteria for the trial. These include:
Having a compatible Vaillant aroTHERM 3 post 2016 or an aroTHERM Plus heat pump with a connected myVAILLANT Connect internet gateway.
Or a Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Heat Pump installed from 2015 with an active MELCloud account.
Being signed up to our Heat Pump Plus add-on and being an OVO customer
Accepting the trial terms and privacy policy.
Downloading the Havenwise app and agreeing to Havenwise optimising the operation of your heat pump remotely during the trial.

² The optimisation aims to increase the efficiency of your heat pump and better align its operation with moments when the grid has more renewable energy in it. So your heat pump will consume more green energy, and less energy from fossil fuels, all while ensuring comfort.
