1 The Exclusive Partner rate of 6.66p per kWh is effective whenever you smart charge your EV. If you'd like to override your smart charging schedule to top up quickly, you'll be charged at your standard home energy electricity rate. The next time you charge, you’ll automatically go back to your smart charging schedule.
2 Actual sum is £599. When you add Charge Anytime to your plan, your home energy rate will stay the same, but the energy consumed by your EV will be charged at an effective rate of 6.66p per kWh when EV smart charging (thanks to payment of your Charge Anytime Partner Rate charging credits).
The £599 saving is based on an average Charge Anytime customer using 3100kWh a year to charge their EV using the Charge Anytime add on. The Exclusive Partner Charge Anytime rate on 1/10/2026 is 6.66p per kWh for smart charging compared to the OVO’s UK average SVT rate of 26.32p per kWh. Actual savings will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, EV charging usage and the cost per kWh of your standard home energy tariff.
