Frequently Asked Questions

Here are our most common asked questions, find out more in OVO Answers

Your monthly Direct Debit should stay the same. However, if we think you’re building up a big credit balance – or you’re getting into debt – we’ll recommend that you put it down or up. You’ll also be able to change your Direct Debit amount at anytime in My OVO.

A fixed price tariff means your energy prices (unit rates and standing charges) will stay exactly the same for the duration of your tariff.

Renewable electricity emits zero CO2 and other greenhouse gases, and it quickly replenishes. Over half of the renewable electricity we use comes from hydropower, and the rest comes from other renewable sources, like wind, geothermal, biomass and solar.
