Charge Anytime new charger beta: Terms and Conditions
1. About these Terms
1.1 These Charge Anytime new product beta terms and conditions (the Terms) form the agreement between you and us:
(a) “You” are the person who has signed up to the Trial;
(b) “OVO”, “we”, “us” or “our” is OVO Energy Limited. Our address is 1 Rivergate, Temple Quay, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS1 6ED.
These Terms are specific to the Trial. They are separate to the OVO Core Terms and Conditions (Core Terms), the Charge Anytime Terms and Conditions, the Charge Anytime beta Terms and Conditions (Vehicle betas only). They are also separate to any specific terms which may apply to the tariff you are on and apply in addition to these terms.
In order to participate in the Trial you’ll need to agree to these Terms in addition to the standard Charge Anytime Terms and Conditions.
Capitalised terms used in these Terms will have the same meaning given to them in the Charge Anytime Terms and Conditions unless otherwise stated.
2. About the Trial
2.1 To be eligible for the Trial you must have opted into being contacted about participating in new EV product trials within the Charge Anytime monthly plans pre order form. You must also meet the eligibility criteria for Charge Anytime. We may cap eligibility to limit the number of customers taking part in the trial. Therefore, trial places may only be available on a first come first served basis.
2.2 The Trial will last from the date the Trial begins (which we’ll let you know via an email) until the 4 November 2025 (the Trial Period) unless it’s ended earlier by us in accordance with these Terms or you decide to leave the Trial. Your Monthly Plan Fee will be reduced pro rata to apply to the Trial Period, but you’ll get a full month's equivalent of your Home Charging Allowance.
2.3 You accept that this is a trial offering, and that the purpose of the Trial is to assess the viability and effectiveness of providing new products to the Charge Anytime add-on. As such, you accept that the Charge Anytime add-on may not operate properly or be fully functional, for which neither we, nor our partners will be liable. (But if any of these arise, we'll try to minimise their impact on you). The EV Charger Insurance element of your Monthly Plan will only be available for activation from 4 November 2025.
2.4 We may end or make changes to the Trial at any time but we’ll let you know in advance before we do so. We may also make changes to these Terms, but we’ll let you know of any changes in advance if we feel that these changes will have a negative impact on you.
2.5 You may terminate your participation in the Trial at any time in accordance with clause 10 of the Charge Anytime add-on terms and conditions. We’ll ask you to provide OVO with feedback and the factors that led to you terminating your participation.
2.6 You agree that the OVO Group (including OVO & Kaluza) may collect relevant technical and usage data from you about your experience during the Trial strictly for the purposes of service and functionality improvement and trial evaluation. This will be done in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2.7 You agree to let the OVO Group contact you about your experience during and after this Trial in order to collect feedback, and to improve the user experience. You’ll also actively take part through our OVO forum during the Trial Period. Any data you submit will be used strictly in accordance with the OVO Privacy Policy.
2.8 Except where liability cannot be limited by law, we’ll not be liable to you for any loss or damage you may suffer as a result of participating in this Trial.
2.9 The Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
