Light bulb offer terms and conditions

1. These terms

1.1 These terms and conditions (the Terms) apply to the light bulb offer (the Offer). Please read these Terms carefully.

1.2 These Terms only relate to this Offer and are separate to the OVO Core Terms and Conditions governing the supply of energy to you.

2. What is the offer?

All customers who receive the Greener Energy newsletter will receive 2 Philips LED light bulbs (the Product).

3. How it works

3.1 The Product will automatically be sent to all customers who receive the Greener Energy newsletter.

3.2 You will receive the Product within 45 days of receiving your Winter 23 Greener Energy newsletter.

3.3 The Product will be sent to the address registered on your OVO Energy account. We are unable to send any Products to any other addresses.

3.4 Only one Product per OVO Energy account holder will be permitted.

3.5 The Offer is subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute the Product with an alternative product at our discretion.

4. Faulty or damaged products

4.1 If you think there is something wrong with your Product, you need to contact our Customer Service Team. You may be entitled to a replacement of the Product but you won't be entitled to receive any cash alternative.

4.2 If, after 6 months from the date of delivery, you encounter any issues with a Product, you'll need to contact the manufacturer of the Product and the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty will apply.

5. Manufacturer's warranty

5.1 All Products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Please read the terms of the applicable warranty carefully. Your warranty may be void if the Product is not used in accordance with the terms of the warranty and/or the manufacturer’s instructions.

5.2 Any obligations to maintain the Products, which are conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty, are your responsibility to perform and maintain a record of. We nor the manufacturer have any responsibility to maintain the Products.

5.3 The warranty period for the Product is 2 years. If you've any questions, need support or want to raise a query, you can get in touch with Signify.

6. Our liability

6.1 We’ll not be liable for any loss including (but not limited to) indirect loss, any expense or damage that you may suffer or sustain as a result of obtaining the Product, save where such loss or damage cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) which shall be limited to the minimum under law.

6.2 We will not be responsible for:

a) any delay or inability to fulfil the Offer, deliver your product and/or fulfil your service for reasons outside our reasonable control, or any costs, loss or damage you suffer as a result;

b) any costs, loss or damage you suffer as a result of not using the product in line with the instructions provided to you, including any manufacturer user guides;

c) any loss or damage you suffer caused by us, our employees or agents to the extent such loss or damage results from any breach by you of these Terms;

d) any failure by you or a third party in the care, operation, inspection, servicing or maintenance of a product which is not done strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and without our or the manufacturer’s consent.

7. General

7.1 We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be published on our website.

7.2 We reserve the right to make changes to or withdraw the Offer at any time.

7.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
