Once your energy supply and online account is set up, you can add Charge Anytime to your plan for free. This saving is calculated from various offers and incentives currently available to OVO customers as of 1 April 2024. You can save £60 on an Energy Expert visit and £103.00 on a smart thermostat. With Power Move, the minimum amount of credit you can redeem is £120 for the year. This is a combined saving of £283.00.

We've planted 5 million UK trees since 2015 in schools and communities across the UK on behalf of our customers. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, so planting trees helps to slow down climate change.
With Greener Electricity, you’ll receive 100% renewable electricity backed by Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) we have with UK-based generators. The electricity supplied to your home will still come from the National Grid and come from a mix of sources, but an amount of renewable electricity equal to the amount you’ve used will be added to the grid, directly from a UK-based renewable generator.
The £40 goes towards buying ”subsidy-free” Power Purchase Agreements (an amount of energy from new UK renewable generators. A power purchase agreement (PPA) is a contractual agreement between energy buyers and sellers. They come together and agree to buy and sell an amount of energy that’s generated from a renewable source. Without our support, these projects might not get off the ground or get subsidies. Our commitment to buying power from them once they’re set up means they’re more likely to get other funding too.
The 2p a mile claim is based on an EV customer driving the UK average of 7,000 miles at an average of 4 miles a kWh. The Charge Anytime add-on rate on 01/04/2024 is 7p per kWh. Actual sum per mile is 1.75p. Individual costs will vary based on your vehicle efficiency and driving style.
