You can save even more if you’re up for taking control of your account online**– we offer a special discount if you’re happy to self serve on things like giving meter readings. In a word, no. By law, we can’t renew a fixed price plan on your behalf – you have to actively opt in to renew and refix.
So if you don’t get round to renewing for whatever reason, we have to move you to our variable Simpler Energy plan. This is still good value – but as it’s variable, it changes with the wholesale market. As such, over a year, you may not get the best price OVO can offer you.
