Which payment methods do you accept?

Flexible Direct Debit, Standard Direct Debit, pay by cash, cheque in arrears and Pay As You Go.

Paying by Direct Debit and other methods

Most people choose to pay by Flexible Direct Debit or Standard Direct Debit, one month in advance.

You can also pay in cash* or by cheque in arrears if you are on our Simpler energy plan. If you choose to pay in arrears we may need to ask you for a one-off security deposit equivalent to two months’ bill.

If you like more control over what you’re spending, Smart Pay As You Go options might work better for you. You can pay in cash at a PayPoint, online, by text, or by setting up a regular payment with your bank.


*'By cash' refers to paying via paying-in slip at your bank.
