Important to know

  1. Terms and eligibility apply. See full Beyond terms and all Beyond offer terms. All offers are subject to availability and OVO reserves the right to replace or amend the range and value of available offers at any time.

  2. A year’s free energy is set at a maximum bill credit of £2,000. A year’s free energy is calculated in line with Ofgem’s average Energy Price Cap for January-March 2025 for customers paying by Direct Debit, which is worked out based on a 2-3 bedroom house, with 2 to 3 occupants using 11,500 kWh gas and 2,700 kWh electricity per year. Credit may not equal one year’s free energy if you are a higher than average user or if the price cap were to increase beyond current forecasts. We’ll pay it as energy bill credit in 12 monthly instalments. For example, if you win a year's free energy in January, the credit would be applied to your bill in February and each following month up to the last payment in January the following year.

  3. A fixed monthly cost for all your EV charging where the home charging element is based on signing up to a chosen monthly plan and using up to the home mileage cap associated with your plan to smart charge at home. Any mileage up to the cap you will be credited for at your home tariff rate. Mileage over the cap you will not be credited for effectively meaning you'll be charged at your home tariff rate for mileage above your plan cap. Your home tariff rate will also apply to boost charging. The public charging element is based on using up to the annual credit amount for public charging associated with your monthly plan, for example £120 if you were to sign up to the Premium Monthly Plan.

  4. The actual sum is £460. When you add a Charge Anytime monthly plan to your home tariff, your home energy rate will stay the same, but your EV charging will be charged separately at one fixed monthly cost including both your home and public charging miles. The £460 saving is based on a Charge Anytime customer signing up to the Premium Monthly Plan and using 12,000 miles a year of home charging and 600 miles on the road using public charging networks compared to a customer charging their home miles at OVO's UK average SVT rate of 26.34p per kWh and their public miles at an average Charge Point Operator rate of 80p per kWh. The Premium Monthly Plan has a monthly cost of £37.50 which includes both the home and public charging mileage. Mileage is calculated at an efficiency of 4 miles per kWh. Actual savings will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, EV charging usage, the cost per kWh of your standard home energy tariff and the rate you pay on public Charge Point Operator networks.

  5. Our smart tech aims to charge your car when the grid has more renewable energy in it, within the time you’ve set. Meaning it’s less likely your EV will be charged by energy from fossil fuels.
