Meter reading

Please be aware that we are shortly due to remove this page from our website. Instead you will need to submit your meter readings through your My Ovo account.

Please enter your opening meter readings in the fields below so we can make sure the readings we use to open your account match those that your previous supplier used to close your old account. Please leave any fields which are not relevant to you, blank.

If you’ve received at least one statement, please enter your meter readings via your My Ovo account. Your My Ovo ID is a nine digit code, which looks like 10XXXXXXX. Your My Ovo ID is automatically created when you become an Ovo customer and can be found on the top right corner of your statement, just below your account number.

Your account number should be 7 digits long starting with 21 or 22

Please enter the date in DD/MM/YYYY format

Electricity

Please only enter the black digits to the left of any decimal points. Please ignore any digits in red or to the right of the decimal point

Please leave blank if you only have one reading

Gas

If your metering set up does not match the boxes above (e.g. if you have more than one meter per fuel) or if you have any queries please enter the reads directly into your My Ovo account, email hello@ovoenergy.com, or call us on 0800 5999 440.
