OVO tops the Which? list with 82% customer satisfaction

By OVO Energy Monday 18 January 2016

Last year, we were delighted to be Which?'s first ever Recommended Energy Supplier. So we’re even happier this year, as we’re a Recommended Supplier again, and we've topped their customer satisfaction survey with a score of 82%.

This is a phenomenal result, and we’re very grateful to everyone who gave us such a great rating. Putting customers first has always been our primary motivation, so we’re glad many of you agree that we’re doing OK.

Our CEO Stephen Fitzpatrick:

"We are really proud to come top of Which?’s customer satisfaction survey. Delivering great service at the same time as keeping our costs low is not easy but we are showing that it can be done. We will continue to invest in our people and our technology and, above all, always ensure that our customers come first. Thank you to everyone that took the time to vote for us"

Helping our customers to help themselves

We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to find the information they need, quickly and easily. We’ve developed My OVO to help people manage and keep track of their account online, while our OVO Help and in-depth Energy Guides provide detailed, easy-to-read information about everything to do with OVO and the energy industry in general. They also provide a wealth of facts and tips about saving energy, reducing your bills, and getting help with energy debt.

How we topped the chart

Which? questioned 8,902 energy customers in October, 2015. The percentage scores in the survey are based on the responses given for both overall satisfaction and how likely people were to recommend their energy supplier.

This is what Which? asked consumers about:

So a big thank you to everyone who gave us such a great score and said they’d recommend us to their friends. If you’re not an OVO customer yet, just ask us for a quote and we’ll do our best to show you how we’re working hard to deserve an even better score next year.
