It’s not watt, it’s when
Power Move is all about using electricity in a way that’s better for the planet. It doesn't mean using less. It means using at greener times of the day, outside the peak hours of 4pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Away from peak hours, there’s less demand for energy and more renewable power available. So by shifting your electricity, you’ll be helping the UK rely less on fossil fuels too. It’s a win-win.

Once you’ve got Beyond, you’ll be able to join Power Move¹ in the OVO app.
Shift your electricity use
Use 85% or more of your electricity at greener times of the day and get rewarded with points.
Earn points
Get points every month for your off-peak electricity use. You might be invited to weekly challenges to earn hundreds more¹.
Spend as you like
Once your points start stacking up, you can choose how to spend them. Either use them on free electricity⁴ straight away, or bank them to use on bill credit later.
Grab extra points withweekly challenges
You might be invited to take part in weekly challenges to earn hundreds of extra points. There'll be points for shifting more of your electricity use to greener times, or for keeping up the good work.
