Charge Anytime - Monthly Plans VWG Pre-Order Terms

These are the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) for our Charge Anytime Monthly Plans VWG pre-order offer (the “Offer”) which will be available for customers to sign up to from the 1 March to 30 March (the “Offer Period”). Please read these Terms carefully. These Terms are in addition to, and do not replace, our Core Energy Supply Terms and Conditions (Core Terms), Charge Anytime Terms and Conditions (Charge Anytime), the OVO Charge App Terms and Conditions (OVO Charge Terms) and the Charge Anywhere Terms and Conditions (Charge Anywhere Terms).

All defined terms in our Core Terms, Charge Anytime terms, Charge Anywhere terms and OVO Charge terms will have the same meaning when used in these Terms unless otherwise stated.

1. About the Offer

1.1 The Charge Anytime Monthly Plans VWG Pre-Order offer (the “Offer”) is our way of giving OVO customers eligible for the VWG retail offer earlier access to our new monthly plans. This means you can get instant access to the plans giving you a flat monthly fee for all home charging plus a public charging voucher and other perks from the 1 April without needing to sign up and avoid the partnership Pay As You Go rate change for Volkswagen Group UK customers.

2. How it works

2.1 You can sign up by completing this pre-order form, selecting your chosen Monthly Plan and agreeing to Charge Anytime terms. You will then be enrolled onto your chosen Monthly Plan which will begin at midnight on 1 April or such other date as we may notify you. This means you can instantly start benefiting from your chosen Monthly Plan from the day of launch. Until 31 March you will continue to access the current Charge Anytime partnership Pay As You Go rate of 7p per kWh.

2.2 To start benefitting from your chosen plan on the 1 April you must ensure the details submitted on the pre-order form match the information linked to your OVO account. If your details do not match to your OVO account when the form closes we will not be able to enroll you onto your chosen plan. 

2.3 If you change your mind once you have submitted the form and would not like to be automatically enrolled onto a monthly plan, or would like to change your chosen plan please email [email protected] or call us on 0330 175 9678 and we will remove you from the pre-order form or update your chosen plan. You must let us know by 30 March so we can remove you from the pre-order list. If you're removed from the pre-order list this means from the 1 April you will be moved on to the Charge Anytime pay as you go rate of 14p per kWh.

2.4 The pre-order form will be open for registration from the 1 March and close at midnight on the 30 March. After the 30 March you will no longer be able to join the pre-order list and you must choose your monthly plan in either the OVO energy app or through the website in the logged in account area.

3. Eligibility

3.1 To be enrolled onto your chosen plan when the pre-order form closes at midnight on 30 March you must:

  • be an existing customer signed up to Charge Anytime. You must sign up to Charge Anytime by 30 March; 

  • not already have an active Charge Anytime monthly plan when the order form closes;

  • your electricity is supplied for domestic use only. This pre-order form is not available with commercial or workplace electrical supply;

  • the property where you will charge your EV is located in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland); 

  • you continue to comply with the Charge Anytime terms and all other terms which govern your relationship with OVO;

  • agree to OVO's Privacy Policy and confirm consent to be contacted by email and agree to the Charge Anytime terms; and

  • you sign up to the Offer during the Offer Period;

3.2 If you do not meet the eligibility criteria in paragraph 3.1 above, you will not be eligible to join the pre-order list and be automatically enrolled onto a monthly plan, if you’re an OVO customer, your energy supply contract will not be affected. See our Core Terms for your rights to cancel your energy supply contract should you wish to do so. Please note that termination fees may apply.

3.3 Eligibility for the pre-order offer is at our discretion and we reserve the right to remove this if we believe that any customer is ineligible for any reason.

4. Data Sharing

4.1 Your legal rights in relation to your personal information and the way in which we process your personal data will be in line with our Privacy Policy.

5. Other 

5.1 If you want to switch to a different supplier or cancel Charge Anytime, you will no longer be eligible to join the pre-order list and you may need to pay any exit fees associated with your plan. See our Core Terms for your rights to cancel your energy supply contract.

5.2 We reserve the right to remove or temporarily suspend you from the pre-order list if, in our reasonable opinion, we suspect any breach of these rules, the Charge Anytime terms or our Core Terms. 

5.3 If we deem in our discretion that a participant is ineligible for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel or remove the participant from the pre-order list.

5.4 We reserve the right to amend these terms on reasonable notice. Any amendments will be published on OVO's website.

5.5 We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the preorder list to new participants at any point.

5.7 These Terms are subject to English Law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England unless you’re a resident of Scotland, in which case you may also bring proceedings in Scotland
