1 Prices given include a standard installation. Your survey might show that you need more work than a standard installation. In this case, your quote would include this additional cost. Terms and conditions apply.
2 Actual sum is £385.83. When you add Charge Anytime to your plan, your home energy rate will stay the same, but the energy consumed by your EV will be charged at an effective rate of 7p per kWh when EV smart charging (thanks to payment of your Charge Anytime charging credit). The £385.83 saving is based on an average Charge Anytime customer using 2700kWh a year to charge their EV using the Charge Anytime add on. The Charge Anytime rate on 01/07/2024 is 7p per kWh for Charge Anytime charging compared to the OVO’s UK average SVT rate of 21.29p per kWh. Actual savings will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, EV charging usage and the cost per kWh of your standard home energy tariff.
3 The Hypervolt Home 3 Pro charger is currently in a trial phase with Charge Anytime, which means it might not have all the Charge Anytime features yet. Check out our Charge Anytime trial terms page to find out what you can expect.
4 The 2p a mile claim is based on an EV customer driving the UK average of 7,000 miles at an average of 4 miles per kWh. The Charge Anytime add-on rate on 01/01/2024 is 7p per kWh. Actual sum per mile is 1.75p. Individual costs will vary based on your vehicle efficiency and driving style.
5 Average time for an standard installation to be completed once the pre-installation survey has been submitted. Some installations may take longer.
6 Subject to eligibility and acceptance of our terms and conditions. If you’re not already a customer, you can still get a charger installed by us, but you’d need to switch to OVO to add on Charge Anytime (to any OVO energy plan). To get the Charge Anytime add-on, you'll need to have a compatible EV car and/or EV charger, a smart meter, and to download our app. You’ll also need to agree to your smart meter sharing half-hourly readings with us. 7 Our smart tech aims to charge your car when the grid has more renewable energy in it, within the time you’ve set. Meaning it’s less likely your EV will be charged by energy from fossil fuels.
